According to Mike.
- A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a
permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until
the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from
the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for
the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury,
with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose
fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the worlds greatest civilizations from the beginning
of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these
nations always progressed through the following sequence:
1. From bondage to spiritual faith;
2. From spiritual faith to great courage;
3. From courage to liberty;
4. From liberty to abundance;
5. From abundance to complacency;
6. From complacency to apathy;
7. From apathy to dependence;
8. From dependence back into bondage "

People will complain about the power of big banks, and bankers. Well cupcakes
cut them off at the knees then. Start by cutting up your credit cards, pay off
your debt and pay cash for everything. If you don't like paying a fee for people
to stock and maintain ATM's, pay for the electricity and internet connection to
make them work .. then quit using them and go to your bank and cash a check. BOOM problem solved.

America is in competition with the rest of the world when it comes to creating jobs for its citizens. If you want to see more business's come back to the US, lower the third highest corporate tax rate in the world and relax the "overly burdensome" regulations.
>
In order to be pro-jobs congress has to be pro-business. If you want to run more jobs out of the country just continue to raise taxes and regulations on them even higher. And yes, yes ... I know you can't make the dumb-ass socialists nor most democrats understand that.

America is a "melting pot". A melting pot means that we blend together as one so that we will have things in common. A melting pot is not constructed of individual “cultural” silos where we do not associate with one another.
A common language is the only thing that will bring us all together, it allows us to communicate with one another and without it we become a "Tower of Babel" where society falls apart. A common language well spoken by everyone only makes us stronger.
Imagine not being able to speak English, however broken, you are involved in an accident and the responding PD/FD/EMS can not speak whatever language you speak. You or a family member may just die because you can't communicate them.

Isn't It Ironic?
The food stamp program, part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever.
Meanwhile, the Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture, asks us to "please do not feed the animals" because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves.

People will complain about the greed of "big business", well what about the greed of "big government" and the greed of "big union bosses". And the greed of all the people wanting the government to STEAL even more money from successful working Americans so they can get even more handouts? Are they not the greedy ones to want something that they didn't earn from someone who earned what they have?
-
The greedy folks, who are receiving free stuff, don't like the folks who are paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying for the free stuff, can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff and want most of the free stuff to stop. And the greedy folks who are receiving the free stuff, want even more free stuff on top of the free stuff they're already getting!
Now -The people who are forcing the people who pay for the free stuff, have told the greedy people who are receiving the free stuff, that the people who are paying for the free stuff, are greedy, mean, prejudiced, and racist and a host of other names they like to call them.
So -The greedy people who are receiving all the free stuff, have been convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff, by the people who are forcing the people who are paying for the free stuff and giving the greedy people the free stuff in the first place.
Now -We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more greedy people receiving free stuff than there are paying for the free stuff.
Now understand this. All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded. The reason? The greedy voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them free stuff from the treasury in exchange for electing them.
Conclusion -The solution is to get a copy of the constitution, read it, study it, understand it, live it and return America to the “Constitutional Republic” on which it was founded or die a slave under a tyrannical socialist dictatorship.

If Social Security is not a ponzi scheme why won't the feds refund every single penny plus a modest interest to me? And why do they give it to people who did not pay so much as one penny into it? When SS was created the average age was 60, thus almost guaranteeing that no one would ever collect on it. Since 1969 (LBJ) both parties are guilty of using taxes intended for but never guaranteed for SS and using it as a part of the general fund for ILLEGAL social welfare programs to buy votes. However since I was FORCED by law along with my employer(s) to pay into SS I demand the pittance that I will get back. I ran the numbers and had I been able to invest everything me and my employer were FORCED to pay into it along with a modest interest ... I'd be a millionaire. And if I were to die .... my family would get it and it wouldn't go back into the general fund.

America is not a religion ... America is not a church ... America is not a denomination .. and America sure as hell is NOT a theocracy. America is a (representative) constitutional republic. Now, ... I personally believe that the Constitution of the United States was as equally inspired by God, as is the Word of God. That does not mean that I think that it is equal to the Word of God, just as equally inspired. And that does not make America a theocracy. All America needs "to be great again" is a congress and president that will follow the Constitution of the United States. A government of the people, by the people and for the people ... requires that the PEOPLE are actively engaged in MONITORING their government on a daily basis, and not just during election cycles. Many of my Christian friends misinterpret Rom 13:1. In America we do not have "governing authorities" as referenced in Romans. In a "Constitutional Republic" such as America, each individual citizen is the highest governing authority, not those elected to serve us. The Constitution also gives the American citizen the power and authority to overthrow a tyrannical government that has run a muck of its obligations. Get a copy of the constitution, read it, study it, understand it and live it, or die a slave under a tyrannical government.

Almost every single one of us has flown on an airplane at least once. During the safety briefing when talking about lost of cabin pressure you are instructed to put YOUR oxygen mask on first before assisting others. America is that plane is distress and before we can assist anyone else we must take care of our own house first. That's not being selfish ... that's survival. We can't help anyone if we fail in taking care of ourselves first.

You gotta love us old men,
An elderly man in S/E Texas had owned a large farm for several years. He had a large pond in the back, fixed up nice; picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some apple and peach trees. The pond was properly shaped and fixed up for swimming.
One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the pond, as he hadn't been there for a while, and look it over. He grabbed a five gallon bucket to bring back some fruit. As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee. As he came closer he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny dipping in his pond. He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end.
One of the women shouted to him, "We're not coming out until you leave!"
The old man frowned, "I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swim or make you get out of the pond." Holding the bucket up he said, "I'm here to feed the alligator."
Moral to the story .... Old men can still think fast!
